In almost every case where a famous person was murdered, conspiracy theories crop up. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, but they primarily occur as a result of: poorly handled law enforcement investigations, a distrust of government, and the difficulty accepting that a lone gunman could deprive society of an individual of great stature. We will discuss Lee Harvey Oswald and how his shadowy past was ripe for conspiracy theories.
